These pictures are of the wood floor going in. This took about 2 1/2 days to install the wood, and it made a BIG “visual” difference for the homeowner once the wood was installed.
While the floors, kitchen, and family room are the main focus of this project…..there is also work being done in the hall bath as well. We put in tile floors, painted, put in a new vanity along with a new sink and faucet, and we also installed a new countertop and backsplash. Picking the countertops was a hard decision for the homeowner, but she ended up choosing Caesarstone (color is Wild Rice) for the bathroom, and she is very happy with her choice. It looks beautiful.
Once the floors were installed, we painted and got ready for cabinets to be installed.
Cabinet installation seems to be one of the most exciting parts of the kitchen reno process. It is when the homeowner really starts to see their vision come to life. Everything that was pictured in drawings….we are now able to see in real life.
As a side note…
The paint color you see in these pictures ended up changing. The homeowner took a lot of time trying to pick the right color, but ultimately, once it was up on the wall with the cabinets in…..she didn’t like it. It happens, but we want her to be happy with her new kitchen, so she picked another color. With a little added cost for repainting, we were able to fit it in the schedule without losing any time on the schedule.
I happy to report that she loves her new paint color!!
